Boscundle Manor is a small country house hotel in a beautiful wooded setting about 1 mile from the sea with luxury accommodation and extensive facilities. Built in 1767, Boscundle Manor was home to the mine captain of Wheal Eliza Consoles, the 13th largest tin mine in Cornwall and reputedly one of the most prosperous. The manor has been a hotel for nearly 30 years now and offers discreet accommodation in a range of room styles and sizes with comfortable public areas including a bar, dining room, lounge, morning room and conservatory. Guests may choose to stay either in the manor house with its range of originally styled rooms, the romantic garden room with its massive white four poster bed or the contemporary styled cottage with its 3 bedrooms.
The grounds total just under 5 acres with about half comprising of woodland where there are some old tin mine remains and the other half beautifully kept terraced Cornish gardens containing (from top to bottom) the cottage, the garden room, outdoor heated pool, croquet lawn and private car park. In addition to the outdoor pool there is an indoor heated swimming pool and a huge 8 man hot tub as well.
