Mousehole itself has been described as the most beautiful village in England; and boasts a traditional harbour. Located on the Penwith peninsula very close to Penzance. Penwith remains unspoilt by time with a stunning landscape of rugged cliffs and moorland on the north coast; and steeply wooded valleys; small rocky fishing coves and wonderful sandy beaches further south. Glorious gardens flourish in Cornwall's mild climate; such as Trengwainton; which is within easy travelling distance. Out door activities include walking - the coastal footpath in this area is a wonder to visitors and locals alike - sailing; and of course; surfing. Whitesands Bay at Sennen is recognised as one of Cornwall's finest surfing beaches; located only twenty minutes away. There are several golf courses in the area; including Cape Cornwall golf club. The hotel is set in a sub tropical garden leading to a rocky beach with pools to explore. The harbour itself has a small sandy beach where children can play safely. The hotel boasts an award winning restaurant serving delicious food. Other public areas include the relaxing sun lounge and the magnificent garden terrace providing beautiful coastal views.
