It is a working farm with a pedigree Holstein dairy herd and two flocks of pedigree breeding sheep Polled Dorsets and Suffolks. The Rossiter family has farmed in the South Hams for more than 100 years.

Frogmore is ideally situated to explore the South Hams area. The historic naval town of Dartmouth is 10 miles along the A379 which clings to the coast for most of the way, affording lovely views of Start Bay. From Dartmouth river cruises are available to Totnes and along the coast. Torcross and the wildlife reserve of Slapton Ley is 2 miles away. The local market town of Kingsbridge is 3 miles distant and the resort of Salcombe, with many interesting shops is 10 miles away. The unique Salcombe Estuary has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The towns of Brixham, Totnes, Torquay, Paignton and the cities of Exeter and Plymouth are within easy driving distance. Preserved steam railways from Kingswear to Paignton and Totnes to Buckfastleigh are other local attractions. There are many walks in the area including the South Devon Coastal Path. In the Frogmore area the pubs pride themselves on their marvellous restaurants which have varied menus that specialise in locally caught seafood and steak. Original features can still be seen, such as the wood pannelling that is fitted floor to ceiling in the breakfast room,  which dates back to c1630. Today we farm beef cattle, sheep and grow crops. The farmhouse is set deep in a valley just a few minutes walk from Frogmore creek and the local bakery which is well known in the area for its bread and pastries. The farm is in an ideal location for exploring the South Hams, it is within easy driving distance of Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Totnes and Dartmouth.
